Preserving biodiversity
Since 2019, a colony of around 50,000 bees has been living on our premises, which is regularly looked after by a beekeeper. On the one hand, we want to help slow down the decline in the insect population and, on the other, we want to promote the preservation of biodiversity. Bees serve as pollinators for wild plants and contribute to their reproduction – which also has positive effects on the soil and air. In addition, crops are also pollinated, which has a long-term impact on the global food supply.
Conservation of resources
Our halls and the office building are equipped with an intelligent lighting system – the lights adapt to the natural lighting conditions (intensity of daylight) and react to movement. In this way, we prevent unnecessary wastage of energy and avoid strain on the employees’ eyes by always providing optimum lighting.
Sustainability is not a one-off issue for us. We are in a constant process of further development:
We are currently testing recyclable packaging solutions for small parts in order to convert our packaging materials for non-chemical substances.
