After visiting the office and getting to know the renovators, we visited the construction site on Monday afternoon. <\/p><p>The municipal utilities were supposed to dismantle the affected pipe on Tuesday at 09:00, but due to the rain the sea level rose and the amount of water in the pipe unfortunately postponed our project to an uncertain time.<\/p><p>So as not to sit idly by, we have already cut off the Flex 3D DN350 (5.5 mm) and prepared the AIRBAGLINER\u00ae DN350 and the fire hose to go with it. We have also already attached the liner to the vacuum pump. <\/p><p>At 8 p.m., the time had finally come and the municipal utilities were able to remove the pipe. After cleaning with the chain and flushing, a camera inspection could be carried out. <\/p><p>We wasted no time and started mixing the resin straight away. Naturally, we used Bodenbender EP170 resin so that we didn&#8217;t have to stress ourselves too much: Everything runs a little more relaxed in Greece! \ud83d\ude09<\/p><p>The liner, now weighing approx. 100 kg, had to be lowered by crane on a pallet to the pipe 3 m below. We then installed it by hand with finesse and sufficient lubrication using the Flutsch ground mover!&#8221; <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>&#8220;Immediately after installation, we then inverted the AIRBAGLINER\u00ae in combination with the fire hose. Because we were standing with the inversion drum approx. 1 m away from the pipe and the AIRBAGLINER\u00ae was filled with water here, we supported it with pallets. We set the pressure to 0.8 bar to counteract the seawater and were able to start exchanging air for water at 22:00.  <\/p><p>As we only had one tap there, this took a correspondingly long time. But pretty much at midnight we were able to start heating up with the help of the Bodenbender Thermobox! We decided that 3 men from Ydrofili and I would stay on site to keep an eye on the water level and pressure. The inlet temperature of 90\u00b0C was not reached in the return pipe due to its length, where it was a maximum of 62\u00b0C.    <\/p><p>After hours of waiting, a pizza at 02:00 and lots of fun conversations, the liner was hardened at 05:30. To cool it down slowly, we connected a pressure control valve, pressurized it with compressed air, set it to 0.8 bar and let it cool down until 15:30. <\/p><p>After the subsequent removal of the AIRBAGLINER\u00ae, we cut off the excess liner and carried out a camera inspection.<\/p><p>The liner looked great and the construction site could be left successfully.<\/p><p>To celebrate this, we all met up in the late afternoon for ouzo, beer and delicious food by the sea \ud83d\ude0a&#8221;suck, built in by hand!&#8221;<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div
