Before our block heads off for a short break \u2013 remember the BODENBENDER PROGRESS WEEKS start next week \u2013 we have another building site report for you!<\/strong>
We were on a job with the team from Sanierungstechnik Dommel GmbH in G\u00fctersloh in February and had the opportunity to try out something a bit different again\u2026 have a read and see for yourself.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

It all started in the morning the industrial area of G\u00fctersloh: Top of the agenda was the renovation of a DN 300 concrete sewer. The starting point was on the premises of a local company and led under a road along to the company carpark opposite, leaving roughly 30m to be renovated.<\/p>

The necessary materials and machinery were unloaded; at the same time the sewer was cleaned and inspected with the camera. After getting the green light we got going \u2013 the pipeline was free and ready for renovation.<\/p>

The FlexLiner (5mm DN 300) and the AIRBAGLINER\u00ae were measured up to match. The vacuum on the liner was activated and thus prepped for the resin. At the same time another piece of DN 50 AIRBAGLINER\u00ae was prepped for the large \u00d8 950 mm carbon drum for the steam circuit. Setting was to be done with two SteamBoxes.<\/p>

Our ImpregnationRobot was deployed too and an extra generator to ensure sufficient power.<\/p>

But it wasn\u2019t until this point that we mixed the resin. Despite it being EP 170 we stepped things up a little when it came to the quantity required: at the same time we used two cup stirring tools to stir in parallel so suspended particles etc. were well mixed and the hardener well incorporated.<\/p>

The resin was poured into the liner gradually and finally impregnated evenly using the ImpregnationRobot. Back and forth a few times \u2013 our application engineer Michael was visibly enjoying himself!
Together, the 30m Flexliners were wound onto the drum and brought to the shaft. First the inliner was installed \u2013 open end \u2013 and then the AIRBAGLINER.\u00ae<\/p>

After everything was where it should be at around 1 p.m., the two SteamBoxes were finally connected, and the setting could start. After about 10-15 minutes, the approx. 105\u00b0C in the inlet had been reached and after about 30 minutes it was roughly 85\u00b0C in the return flow, too.<\/p>

After cooling, the camera inspection was carried out around late noon\/afternoon, bringing our construction site trip to a successful end.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
